At Westwood Karate Academy we specialise in teaching traditional karate to the highest standards.

Academy students learn all aspects of Shotokan Karate, from self defence to top level sport, in a safe and friendly environment.

Adults and children train separately with their own instructor, but parents have the opportunity to train at the same time, alongside their children at some of our venues.

Each one of the Academy's professional instructors are expert black belts with a minimum of 10 years karate experience. They have been rigorously trained to teach their karate skills to young and old alike.

The Academy is also further involved with the local community by teaching karate in several local schools.

Our regular classes are open 7 days a week, so you are sure to find a class to fit your schedule. Once signed up, members are able to train in any of the following areas, Rayleigh, Westcliff/Southend-on-Sea, Shoeburyness, Thundersley/Hadleigh, Hockley/Hawkwell, and Canvey Island.
