The UKTKF national team travelled to Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the ITKF World Championships.
The U.K. finished 3rd in the mens team Kumite event, losing out to Italy in the semi-final.

ITKF european championships

This year's ITKF European Championships were held in Bucharest, Romania.
Westwood chief instructor, Alan Parrish, reached the semi-finals of the mens individual kumite before narrowly losing to Jukovic from yugoslavia to finish in third place.
