East - West Challenge Cup 2007 |

The first East-West Challenge Cup competition took place on Saturday 27th October. A competition between the Juniors of the Westwood Karate Academy and the Eastern Shotokan Karate Association with the added spice of a Team Kumite competition for the challenge cup involving Junior, Cadet and Senior Teams.
A fantastic atmosphere created by the club's supporters made for an exciting and thrilling competition, with competitors from both clubs displaying a high standard of karate ability and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to ESKA on winning the Challenge Cup with a total of 218 points to Westwood's 182
Westwood's results are displayed below, and a special well done to Jay Church, winner of both the black belt individual Kata and Kumite events
