Marites retained her Kata title and
also picked up three other medals. Katie Thompson moved up from the Juniors to
the Cadets and won the Kumite, as well as three other medals.
Rachel Price also moved up from the
Juniors this year, and won the Kata event and well as being a member of the
Team Kata champions.
Other double gold medal winners were
Cadet coloured belt Alex Wightman, and Senior Brown belt Richard Maskell.
The women produced a brilliant clean
sweep of the medals in the coloured belt category, well done Lesley, Claire,
Sarah and Liz.
