tiger tot classes
Children aged 4 to 6 years start their training on our Tiger Tots programme. These classes introduce young children to the training methods and disciplines of karate in an enjoyable fun way.
Habits are established early in life, so introducing young child into karate is a great way to get them involved in physically activity at an early age, making it much more likely that they will mature into physically active adults. And karate isn't just good for the body, it's good for the mind too, teaching them important life skills.

Training takes the form of carefully devised exercises to develop technical skills in a fun way. While practising the kicking, punching, and blocking techniques of karate, children are improving their motor skills, balance, coordination, strength and agility, all helping to reduce the risk of obesity. Learning and repeating the techniques improves self-discipline, concentration, and focus, all while having fun and enjoying the physical nature of the training.

Our coloured belt grading system motivates the children to improve their karate and rewards them with increased self-confidence and self-esteem. Training with, and making friends in the dojo will help develop social skills like cooperation, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all skills that will help them get on at school and in later life.
Safety is a priority, and all our experienced instructors are qualified black belts, DBS checked, and first aid trained. |
