TSKUK CHAMPIONSHIPS

19th May 2024

A brilliant day for Westwood at the TSKUK Championships. Our members won a total of 43 Gold, 37 Silver, and 23 Bronze medals. To round off a superb performance, Tommy Grigson was awarded the Outstanding Competitor of the Day Trophy, after winning 4 Golds.

5th dan for charlie

A fantastic Course and Grading day culminated in the senior grading. Congratulations to Sensei Charlie Tarr on his promotion to 5th Dan.

Charlie joined Westwood as a 6 year old 24 years ago, and it was a proud day for Westwood Chief Instructors, Alan and Carol Parrish to see him reach such heights.

Our first competition of the year is the Club Competition.

Just under 100 members had a great time practising their skills in a competitive, but friendly environment.

RICK HOTTON SENSEI

10th-11th February 2024

The 2024 events calendar started with a fantastic 2 day Course in Norwich and Canvey, at our Waterside Farm Sports Centre dojo.

TSKUK had invited Rick Hotton Sensei over from Florida USA, and we are proud to have hosted the second day's training at one of our dojo. Sensei Hotton has a unique perspective on training, which was enjoyed immensely by our members.
